Fortunately, our engineers welcomed this challenge head on and developed a subwoofer solution that fills your Crew Cab with loads of deep bass output. Featuring a sealed enclosure design, this Stealthbox houses two of our revolutionary 10TW3 thin-line subwoofers and installs neatly under the rear seat, without compromising rear seat comfort. Rear seat folding and recline are unaffected, and we even left a spot on the enclosure that’s perfect for a clean, hidden amplifier installation!
The Hard Data: Contains two 10TW3-D8 Subwoofers in a sealed enclosure. 800 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Installation requires removal of under-seat storage divider panel, if equipped. Fits 1500 Crew Cab with reclining rear seat; also fits fixed rear seat models equipped with a rear underseat storage tray. Will not fit 2500 or 3500 models.

JL Audio – 8W1V3-4 8-inch Subwoofer Driver, 4 ohm
W1v3 8-inch Subwoofer (150 W, 4 ohm)
The 8W1v3 is an outstanding choice when space is very tight and amplifier power is moderate. It features shallow mounting depth (3.86 in. / 98 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 8-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. Several of JL Audio’s proprietary technologies enhance its performance and reliability.
The 8W1v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 50W – 150W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 0.350 cu. ft. (9.90 l) sealed enclosure.

We couldn’t leave the ultimate thin woofer alone… we had to make it even better.
Our patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the 13TW5v2 using a concentric tube structure that supports the 7-inch diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability.
To unleash even more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is also available in single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications.
In keeping with its ?tight-spaces? mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 10-inch woofer. The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.
The 13TW5v2 is best used with amplifier power in the 250W – 600W range and is optimized to operate in a 0.80 cu. ft. (22.7 l) sealed enclosure.
Never has such high-quality sub-bass been possible in the most challenging installation applications.

If you need an 8-inch subwoofer that can create outstanding bass in extremely small enclosures, the 8W3v3 will do the job and surprise you with its power and accuracy. It employs the same technologies as its larger diameter brethren to deliver a whopping 0.375 in. (10 mm) of controlled, one-way, linear excursion.
The 8W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 75W – 250W range and is optimized to operate in a tiny 0.30 cu. ft. (8.5 l) sealed enclosure, or a 0.35 cu. ft. (9.9 l) ported enclosure.
