JL Audio’s High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output.
JL Audio’s chamber-coupled port design wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates just above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer’s direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W7AE driver.
This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 12W7AE-3 and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening. The high power handling of the 12W7AE, combined with the efficiency of this subwoofer system, produce a devastating performance combination.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. While no grille is provided, the recessed mounting baffle provides some protection for the woofer.
The angled-back design saves precious cargo space by allowing the enclosure to fit tightly against the back of a vehicle’s rear seat.
Finish: Dark gray, high-grade automotive carpet, with black carpet on woofer baffle. “JL AUDIO” is embroidered in silver on the top surface of the enclosure.

The 10W1v3 is an outstanding choice when space is very tight and amplifier power is moderate. It features shallow mounting depth (4.6 in. / 117 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 10-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. Several of JL Audio’s proprietary technologies enhance its performance and reliability.
The 10W1v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 75W – 300W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 0.55 cu. ft. (15.57 l) sealed enclosure.

Building on the core technology of our TW5 thin-line subwoofers, the TW3’s deliver a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth and excursion capability. In fact, they are capable of greater excursion than the W3v3’s.
To allow this remarkable feat to be achieved, JL Audio’s patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the TW3’s using a concentric tube structure built into the injection-molded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and a full annular spider, while permitting the placement of the large motor structure further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs.
TW3’s are optimized for small enclosures and offer our tab-ear mounting design to maximize cone area within their mounting footprints. We know you’re going to love working with these amazing Subwoofers.
