JL Audio’s High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output.
JL Audio’s chamber-coupled port design wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates just above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer’s direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W7AE driver.
This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 12W7AE-3 and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening. The high power handling of the 12W7AE, combined with the efficiency of this subwoofer system, produce a devastating performance combination.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. While no grille is provided, the recessed mounting baffle provides some protection for the woofer.
The angled-back design saves precious cargo space by allowing the enclosure to fit tightly against the back of a vehicle’s rear seat.
Finish: Dark gray, high-grade automotive carpet, with black carpet on woofer baffle. “JL AUDIO” is embroidered in silver on the top surface of the enclosure.

Sometimes, bigger is better… For these situations, the 15W0v3 offers excellent excursion capability, linearity and an overall performance envelope that puts it right at the top of its price class. It features a very beefy 2.5 in. diameter voice coil and our Elevated Frame Cooling design for enhanced power handling and reliability.
The 15W0v3 is best used with amplifier power in the 150W – 500W range and is optimized to operate in a moderately sized 1.875 cu. ft. (53.1 l) sealed enclosure, or a 2.75 cu. ft. (77.88 l) ported enclosure.

The 12W6v3 is best used with amplifier power in the 200W – 600W range and is optimized to operate in a sealed enclosure with only 1.0 cu. ft. (28.3 l) of air space, or a 1.3 cu. ft (36.8 l) ported enclosure.

It employs the same technologies as its larger diameter brethren to deliver a whopping 0.375 in. (10 mm) of controlled, one-way, linear excursion.
The 8W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 75W – 250W range and is optimized to operate in a tiny 0.30 cu. ft. (8.5 l) sealed enclosure, or a 0.35 cu. ft. (9.9 l) ported enclosure.
