JL Audio’s High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output. In the HO112-W6v3, the high power handling of the 12W6v3 Subwoofer, combined with its small enclosure requirements, results in a very compact subwoofer system that is capable of impressive output with moderate amplification.
JL Audio’s chamber-coupled port design wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates just above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer’s direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W6v3 driver. This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 12W6v3, and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. While no grille is provided, the recessed mounting baffle provides some protection for the woofer. A steel mesh woofer grille insert can be purchased separately (Model: SGR-12W6v2/v3), if additional woofer protection is desired.
Finish: Dark gray, high-grade automotive carpet, with black carpet on woofer baffle. “JL AUDIO” is embroidered in silver on the side surface of the enclosure.

W1v3 10-inch Subwoofer (300 W, 2 ohm)
The 10W1v3 is an outstanding choice when space is very tight and amplifier power is moderate. It features shallow mounting depth (4.6 in. / 117 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 10-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. Several of JL Audio’s proprietary technologies enhance its performance and reliability.

We couldn’t leave the ultimate thin woofer alone… we had to make it even better.
Our patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the 13TW5v2 using a concentric tube structure that supports the 7-inch diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability.
To unleash even more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is also available in single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications.
In keeping with its ?tight-spaces? mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 10-inch woofer. The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.
The 13TW5v2 is best used with amplifier power in the 250W – 600W range and is optimized to operate in a 0.80 cu. ft. (22.7 l) sealed enclosure.

Building on the core technology of our TW5 thin-line subwoofers, the TW3’s deliver a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth and excursion capability. In fact, they are capable of greater excursion than the W3v3’s.
To allow this remarkable feat to be achieved, JL Audio’s patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the TW3’s using a concentric tube structure built into the injection-molded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and a full annular spider, while permitting the placement of the large motor structure further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs.
