This incredible MicroSub subwoofer system delivers the kind of output and extension that is normally possible with only much larger systems. The key to its performance lies in the precise tuning of its dual 8W3v3 Subwoofers, each in separate airspace, with an efficient slot-ported design.
Extensive interior bracing permits the use of thinner wall material that maximizes the enclosure’s internal volume relative to its exterior volume. The port for each driver wraps around two walls of the enclosure to produce the necessary low tuning frequency that ensures excellent extension and response smoothness. The two flared port entries/exits, one on each end of the enclosure, further enhance sound quality by minimizing air-flow noises through these ports.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal.
Finish: Black, high-grade automotive carpet with silver “JL AUDIO” embroidery on front baffle. Steel mesh grilles are included to protect the Subwoofers.

Sometimes, bigger is better… For these situations, the 15W0v3 offers excellent excursion capability, linearity and an overall performance envelope that puts it right at the top of its price class. It features a very beefy 2.5 in. diameter voice coil and our Elevated Frame Cooling design for enhanced power handling and reliability.
The 15W0v3 is best used with amplifier power in the 150W – 500W range and is optimized to operate in a moderately sized 1.875 cu. ft. (53.1 l) sealed enclosure, or a 2.75 cu. ft. (77.88 l) ported enclosure.

W1v3 8-inch Subwoofer (150 W, 4 ohm)
The 8W1v3 is an outstanding choice when space is very tight and amplifier power is moderate. It features shallow mounting depth (3.86 in. / 98 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 8-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. Several of JL Audio’s proprietary technologies enhance its performance and reliability.
The 8W1v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 50W – 150W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 0.350 cu. ft. (9.90 l) sealed enclosure.
