This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum sealed enclosure alignment for the 12W7AE-3 and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal.
The angled-back design saves precious cargo space by allowing the enclosure to fit tightly against the back of a vehicle’s rear seat.
Finish: Black, high-grade automotive carpet, with gloss-black laminated decorative front baffle trim. Three solid aluminum bars provide stylish and rugged woofer protection.

W1v3 10-inch Subwoofer (300 W, 2 ohm)
The 10W1v3 is an outstanding choice when space is very tight and amplifier power is moderate. It features shallow mounting depth (4.6 in. / 117 mm) and a compact motor structure, allowing it to comfortably fit in a lot of spaces where a typical 10-inch driver will not. Lacking a pole vent, the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. Excellent excursion capability and linearity allow it to reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality. We couldn’t leave the ultimate thin woofer alone… we had to make it even better.
Our patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the 13TW5v2 using a concentric tube structure that supports the 7-inch diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability.
To unleash even more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is also available in single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications.
In keeping with its ?tight-spaces? mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 10-inch woofer. The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.
The 13TW5v2 is best used with amplifier power in the 250W – 600W range and is optimized to operate in a 0.80 cu. ft. (22.7 l) sealed enclosure.

The 12W6v3 is best used with amplifier power in the 200W – 600W range and is optimized to operate in a sealed enclosure with only 1.0 cu. ft. (28.3 l) of air space, or a 1.3 cu. ft (36.8 l) ported enclosure.
