With the Evolution C3 Convertible Component Systems, the same product can be deployed in either configuration, delivering outstanding audio power and quality in each application.
Many people mistakenly believe that an oval speaker cannot perform as well as a round one, leading to many instances of 5.25-inch speakers being installed into 5 x 7-inch openings. JL Audio has put in the engineering time and effort to create fantastic-sounding speakers that drop into oval openings and deliver equivalent performance to our 6.5-inch (165 mm) round speaker systems… guaranteed. So, don’t make the mistake of losing cone area and efficiency by stepping down to a smaller round speaker… these ovals are as impressive as our round format systems.
The C3-570cw is a 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) component woofer with oversized 1.2-inch (30.5 mm) voice coil, mineral-filled polypropylene cone and injection-molded polymer basket. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio’s vast woofer design experience and advanced modeling systems.

The 12W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 150W – 500W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 1.125 cu. ft. (31.8 l) sealed enclosure, or a 1.75 cu. ft. (49.6 l) ported enclosure.

If you need an 8-inch subwoofer that can create outstanding bass in extremely small enclosures, the 8W3v3 will do the job and surprise you with its power and accuracy. It employs the same technologies as its larger diameter brethren to deliver a whopping 0.375 in. (10 mm) of controlled, one-way, linear excursion.
The 8W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 75W – 250W range and is optimized to operate in a tiny 0.30 cu. ft. (8.5 l) sealed enclosure, or a 0.35 cu. ft. (9.9 l) ported enclosure.
