The DB Drive 6.5 inch 2-way design media set reaches 250 watts peak (55 watts RMS) at 4 Ohms and is very easy to install due to very little mounting depth. DB Drive S1 65CV2 presents a cast aluminum housing that provides good heat dissipation, and its tweeter design is bi-directional this allows you to move it towards the direction where you need the sound. This DB Drive Open Show media set has outstanding features such as its pressed paper woofer cone, rubber suspension and ferrite magnet, 3/4″ aluminum tweeter with Mylar dome and its passive crossover is 12dB per octave. It has a frequency response of 40 – 20,000 Hz and sensitivity of 90 dB. There are times when an installation calls for a separate woofer and tweeter and other times when a coaxial is the better approach. With the Evolution C3 Convertible Component Systems, the same product can be deployed in either configuration, delivering outstanding audio power and quality in each application.
Many people mistakenly believe that an oval speaker cannot perform as well as a round one, leading to many instances of 5.25-inch speakers being installed into 5 x 7-inch openings. JL Audio has put in the engineering time and effort to create fantastic-sounding speakers that drop into oval openings and deliver equivalent performance to our 6.5-inch (165 mm) round speaker systems… guaranteed. So, don’t make the mistake of losing cone area and efficiency by stepping down to a smaller round speaker… these ovals are as impressive as our round format systems.
The C3-570 system features 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) component woofers with oversized 1.2-inch (30.5 mm) voice coils, mineral-filled polypropylene cones and injection-molded polymer baskets. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio’s vast woofer design experience and advanced modeling systems.
The C3 tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver powerful, extended response, on and off axis. Flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures are included to fit a wide variety of installation needs. They can also be mounted onto the woofers in a coaxial format using the included fixtures.
C3 crossover networks are compact and built with premium component parts, including Mylar capacitors and segmented air-core inductors. Four levels of tweeter attenuation are provided, as well as three levels of mid-range presence adjustment, for twelve possible voicing combinations!
Woofer grilles are not available for this product.

C1 speakers deliver real substance and great audio performance in a format designed for easy fit behind factory grilles.
To facilitate fit, spacer adaptor rings are included allowing the C1-690tx to be installed in bottom-mount applications.
C1 woofer drivers benefit from proprietary FEA modeling and JL Audio’s expertise in low-frequency driver design. This knowledge is used to create speakers that can play loudly, while maintaining a smooth, dynamic, low distortion sound. At the core of the C1-690tx is a proprietary, stamped, steel 6 x 9-inch (150 x 230 mm) oval frame and a DMA-optimized motor system. A mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene cone is suspended with a rubber surround on the front, and a carefully engineered flat Conex? spider at the top of the voice coil, to precisely control motion and prevent impact between the voice coil and the back plate. Tinsel leads are carefully routed and attached to the spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing. These are the same kinds of features and materials normally found on much more expensive loudspeakers.
Equipped with dual true, edge-driven, aluminum dome tweeters, the C1-690tx stands apart from others in its category with superior high-frequency clarity and separation. The design of each tweeter delivers inherently excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension. Both high-frequency drivers also benefit from the damping of silk surround suspensions and Ferrofluid in the voice coil gaps, along with the superior strength of neodymium magnetics. A true, mixed order filter network is employed to further enhance smoothness and improve power handling.

C1 component tweeters are engineered to deliver refined performance, with excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension. Utilizing true, edge driven 0.75-inch aluminum domes with silk suspensions, the C1-075ct component tweeters provide smooth, detailed reproduction of treble frequencies from 4 to 24 kHz.
The tweeters can be flush-mounted or surface-mounted with the supplied fixtures to fit a wide variety of installation needs. Inline, outboard, 12 dB / octave, high-pass filters are included to ensure smooth response and reliability. These filters also are equipped with Advanced Tweeter Protection Circuitry to improve power handling and reliability.
