Born from shared technologies used in our flagship C7 speakers, the C6-100ct component tweeter benefits from vast speaker design experience and advanced modeling systems of JL Audio.
Ideal for active systems, the C6-100ct component tweeter features an edge-driven, pure silk dome diaphragm for smooth, high-frequency performance with remarkable off-axis response and damping. A neodymium motor and ferrofluid cooling provide high-magnetic flux and improved reliability with extended response from a very compact motor system. Passive crossover networks are not included with C6 drivers, as they are designed for active systems. Instead, we recommend a high-quality tuning digital signal processor (DSP), such as the JL Audio TwK® DSP or a VXi amplifier with built-in DSP, with a dedicated amplifier channel for each C6 loudspeaker in the system. Precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters will ensure optimal in-vehicle performance.

There are times when an installation calls for a separate woofer and tweeter and other times when a coaxial is the better approach. With the Evolution? C3 Convertible Component Systems, the same product can be deployed in either configuration, delivering outstanding audio power and quality in each application.
The C3-650 system features 6.5-inch (165 mm) component woofers with oversized 1.2-inch (30.5 mm) voice coils, mineral-filled polypropylene cones and injection-molded polymer baskets. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio’s vast woofer design experience and advanced modeling systems.
The C3 tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver powerful, extended response, on and off axis. Flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures are included to fit a wide variety of installation needs. They can also be mounted onto the woofers in a coaxial format using the included fixtures.
C3 crossover networks are compact and built with premium component parts, including Mylar? capacitors and segmented air-core inductors. Four levels of tweeter attenuation are provided, as well as three levels of mid-range presence adjustment, for twelve possible voicing combinations!
Woofer grilles are included, each consisting of a black grille tray and a black steel mesh grille with an electroformed JL Audio logo.

0.75-inch (19 mm) Aluminum Dome Tweeters
C1 component tweeters are engineered to deliver refined performance, with excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension. Utilizing true, edge driven 0.75-inch aluminum domes with silk suspensions, the C1-075ct component tweeters provide smooth, detailed reproduction of treble frequencies from 4 to 24 kHz.
The tweeters can be flush-mounted or surface-mounted with the supplied fixtures to fit a wide variety of installation needs. Inline, outboard, 12 dB / octave, high-pass filters are included to ensure smooth response and reliability. These filters also are equipped with Advanced Tweeter Protection Circuitry to improve power handling and reliability.
When it comes to value, C1 is the real deal!
