Equipped with our second-generation NexD2 technology, the MV700/5i is capable of powering a complete marine audio system. It can drive four main speakers with 75 W x 4 @ 4 ohms, while also powering a subwoofer with up to 300W @ 2 ohms. Bridging the main channels transforms it into a very powerful, 3-channel system amplifier with up to 200W x 2 @ 4 ohms on the main channels and 300W @ 2 ohms on the subwoofer channel.
The NexD2 full-range technology in the main channels of this amplifier is DSP-controlled and features a reduced loop area design utilizing DirectFET outputs for outstanding fidelity, very low noise and exceptional efficiency. The subwoofer channel features an optimized low-frequency variant of the NexD2 technology. The amplifier chassis is a ultra-compact, cast alloy design with marine-grade powder coat finish and corrosion-resistant hardware.
Instead of traditional control knobs and switches, all amplifier adjustments and DSP functionality are configured via a compatible external device (PC, Tablet or Smartphone), with the appropriate JL Audio TüN Software application installed.

The ultra-compact XDM400/4 packs a serious full-range punch, generating a whopping 100 watts to each of its four channels into 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD). The technology that makes this much power possible in such a compact chassis is our advanced NexD high-speed switching design, which permits full bandwidth Class D operation with extremely low distortion and remarkable efficiency.
Suitable for car or boat installations, the XDM400/4 is built with marine-grade materials and features an exclusive, dual-mode input filter for noise-free performance in boats or cars. Automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) is also onboard for easy factory system upgrades.
Combine the XDM400/4 with our XDM600/1 monoblock to build a stunning 1000 W amplification system to power four satellites and a subwoofer… and fit the whole thing under a seat or deck. Or, use the XDM400/4 by itself to power two satellites, plus a subwoofer.
The XDM400/4 includes a 12 dB / octave filter for each channel bank, which can be configured as a low-pass or high-pass filter and offers continuously variable cutoff frequency selection from 50-500 Hz. With the addition of an optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC (water-resistant) remote level controller (each sold separately), you have the ability to adjust the level of all amplifier channels or just the rear channels directly from the driver’s seat or cockpit.
Finished in a sleek, black powder-coat, all controls are protected beneath a gasketed, removable top cover for easy access.
